scraping noise from drivers side
watup ive been getting a slow scraping noise from my drivers side hub, its not that loud ive got to turn off my cd deck for me to hear it but when im slowin down i can hear it griding. i did my pads and had the rotors resurfaced about 2-3 months ago. is the rotor fucked? i had some 17" racing harts on there that i sold now im on oem honda rims for the DX. help.!!
i hear it mainly when im slowing down to a full stop for like a light or a stop sign (i stop for em sometimes...) so it does change as the speed decreases, i cant tell if its doin it as im accelerating.. cuz well im accelerating andi can hear the engine (hole in exhaust manifold thats gettin replaced with a header soon...)
i would say the pads were worn out, but you just recently replaced. check the metal piece that is behind the rotor to make sure it didnt bend up against the roto. i had the same sounds (metalic scraping sound) and i jsut bent it back, and voila! gone!
are the tires rubbing at all? are they tucked under the fender?
