which heads will fit my engine?
hey guys. please excuse my n00bness. i just picked up a '90 standard hatchback. i need to replace the head on it. now i know i have a D15 but don't know exactly which one. i'm shopping around for a replacement head and i just wanted to know which heads will fit? if someone can just quickly tell me the years and engine models from which the head will be a direct fit onto my engine that'd be great. i really need to know this. thanks so much.
oh yeah, i'm not looking to do a mini-me or anything with vtec or anything like that. i just want something that will drop right in without any modification. not looking for power.

d15a6 doesn't exist. d15a motors were only produced in 87 (d15a2/3). the d15b1/2/6 heads will work.
Get the d16a6 head if possible.

Since the standard already has multi-point, take the whole d16a6(88-91) head, including intake manifold and throttle body, and put it on your block. use either a pm6 or pg7 ecu, youll be haluing some pretty good *** with that. Oh and get a 5 speed transmission (SI transmissions are awesome for those little swaps)
