I have a 90 civic DX.

1. I can hear water swishing inside the dash when I am driving...? Does anyone know what that my be..? I have never replced my windshield, don't have AC, and have already checked my drain holes and they are clear...?

2. I need to remove my e-brake handle...? Any ideas...?

3. I get a lot of rattling from my back windows..?? Does anyone know how to fix that...?

4. My car sqeaks all the time...?? Even when I am rolling...? Do you think that i need to replace my stock struts...? They are the orig. ones and the car has 267,000 miles on it..., but def. doesn't look it!!

Anyone with any helpfull ideas is greatly appreciated..!! I have banged my head over this for far too long!!

 

damn dude....your car is fucked!....just take it apart and troubleshoot piece by piece!

 

maybe a heater core the water the squeaks are apart of the car and the window maybe able to fix adjust the rear hatch with the plug thingys they need to come out

 

i get rattling from the back too. but its not the windows. its the rear shelf. it you have the little cover check that. not the shelf it self but the moldings it sits on, on the sides behind the rear seat. see if thats the rattle you hear. that was mine. but then again the crx rear is different than the straight up civic. but its worth a shot.......heh assuming its a hatch.

 

sometimes on crx's the hatch itself comes loose. and rattles. you have to adjust the lock (where it latchs at the bottom) and it should hold it down tighter. the same thing happen to mine and my friend's crxs.
