Default 5-speed tranny needed on the cheap

I have an 86 fiero with a built 3.8 sc that should run high 11's if I could get the drivetrain to hold together. There is a company in CA that sells a kit to bolt a NSX tranny (5 or 6 speed, your choice) in a fiero. I know they are infinitely stronger than my flimsy 4-speed manual. Not to mention my stock axles are tiny. Me and a friend of mine made an adapter to mate a Turbo II rx7 tranny to his stock miata engine and I am confident we can do it with an NSX. Only thing that seems like it would be hard is the shift linkage. I can buy that part of the swap kit alone though. The clutch would need just a custom splined center. Oh yeah, the clutch in mine is also hydralic so a custom line to the Acura slave cylinder would be needed, no prob. Custom axles also. Was getting those also anyway. I have already broken two. Does anyone have a good used tranny for sale cheap or at least reasonably priced? Also does anyone know the diamater of the ring gear in the final drive of these trannies? Thanks a lot.
