Last night I had my car partial throttle tuned. My tuner, plugged in his Romulator, and his hondata unit and laptop along with his FJO wideband through the stock harness. For some reason, the car threw a Code 41, Oxygen Heater Circuit. On Hondata's website, they say that it may come on and it should be fine, so my tuner disables the oxygen heater through the Hondata and we go off and tune the car.

We get back, and I put the stock O2 sensor back in and my reburned chip, but the code 41 comes back. So I think, maybe the wire was pushed out of the harness, no, still there, then I change the O2, no dice, then another O2, same result. So finally, I just had him disable it for the time being. I don't have another ECU to try right now, as his disappeared from his shop.

Anyways, has anyone run into this problem before? The car never threw this code beforehand. the car runs fine with it disabled, but its still bugging me that it suddenly did this. I'm thinking that its the ECU, but not sure still, we tried everything to fix it, but nothing. Input please... Thanks

Edit: I checked the wiring and continuity of the wires and everything checks out. I am really stumped. I am going to try to borrow my friend's ecu to see if thats the problem.

Ended up being a bad ecu. Luckily I got a new one prechipped for Hondata from Full-Race Henry.
