idle=wtf?
fast idle thermo valve. has to be. its under your throttle body. take off the three 10mm bolts that hold it to the bottom and undo the water hoses going into it. then take off the plate and turn the white plug with a wide flat head screwdriver. there will be a spring under it pushing it up, so you have to put pressure on it to tighten it. it might not make sense now, but once you get started it will come together. IM me if you have any other questions.

Dunno about B motors, but on SOHC's you can get the plate off with removing the FITV from the TB or even the car. I then used a stubby slotted screwdriver to tighten the plunger.
No sorry But Mr. Jackson is right about this one. The same thing happened to me this past summer and I came to the boards looking for help but no one at the time had the answer for me. Reading a few books helped me out. But no I have the same problem and I have to replace the Fast Idle Thermo Valve on my Civic/GSR
