Default Get her to run!!

Ok I got my d16z6 in my car and all wired up. We goto start it and.....nothing. We notice that it keeps draining batteries. We put a new one in couple cranks and its dead. What would be causing my car not to start. Is it: Out of time, short in electric, bad starter? Also im using the d16z6 crank pulley and alternator but im using my stock a6 belt could that be a problem? I have heard that I need a z6 belt?

well its most likely the timing should have done it right the first time with a z6 belt.

Did you ground the engine? the alternator belt wont cause the car to not start... It will cause the battery to not be charged, but thats about it. Sounds like your timing is off, only takes a little bit and it wont start. Good luck.
