alright instead of searching for the short, im just going to run 3 new wires. . . can anyone tell me where the 4 wires on the sender unit go?
i beleive 2 go to the main relay but where does the 3rd go? and the black is obviously a ground.

will the pump turn on if you supply 12v to it? accually there is only one wire from the pump to the main relay that supplies 12v+ to the pump, the other is only a ground. there is a harness that runs from the plug inside the car to the top of the tank, you could have maybe pinched a wire around there maybe. it sounds like a bad main relay. i would do what sit220 said and make sure fuel i coming out. you can im if you have any questions

Hey bro here is how u test it.

Yellow and black and black. Are the two main wires you have to worry about. Fuel Pump sender wire has its own sensor.

See when u turn on ur ignition see if you get voltage at the Yellow and black power wire and black is ground.

Or you can get a relay and run power direct from the Battery and if you would like more info on this let me know.

Most likely your ground on the fuel pump is not working or your two low on fuel. Did you make sure your fuel pump is sitting right in the tank the warblo isn't exactly like the stock fuel pump.

FYI: if you put fuel in your car and sender doesn't go up means either your pump is not sitting right or sensor is fucked up.
