I just need to put oil in the tranny and i'm all finished with my b16 swap.. I have some gm synchromesh but I would like to flush the tranny with regular oil first before I use this $15 a quart stuff. Which oil should I use?

edit: its 2 quarts right?

 

i think its 2.75

i only use honda MTF.

 

its 2.1 i looked it up

 

If you're just using it to flush, might as well use regular ol motor oil, it's cheaper.

I recommend good ole Honda MTF for the street.

my bad.

if its just to flush... just use regular motor oil, but then you'll have some regular motor oil in there. if you want to make sure you get as much of the old stuff out buy an extra qt. of whatever your going to use and pour it through then plug it and put in the rest...
