Car wont start (clicking) ???
Ok so today I go out to drive my car and I turn the ignition and I just get a click noise. If I keep turning the ignition it just continues to click. My radio and headlights and everything else powered by the battery seem to work fine. I have never experienced this clicking before. It just came out of no where today when I went and tried to start the car. I reset the battery checked all battery connections and they are all good. Spark plugs are fine, no oil or anything on them. All fuses are good. Starter is wired correctly. The fuel pump chimes perfectly along with the main relay. I'm thinking the starter just went out, but a lot of the other threads I read with starters going out seem to start showing signs a few months before they are actually completely toast. Like I said this is the first sign of the clicking and the car wont turn over for anything.
Bottom line is it doesn't seem to be the battery since everything else is being powered perfectly. Would a starter go out just like that with no signs of problems? My car is a 2000 so I would think the starter would last longer then that. Let me know what you think.
Mike.

Just went to check these wires and my trans ground and valve cover ground were not all the way tightened. I tightened them up and it started right away. That was a easy fix. That is like the only thing I didn't check. haha thanks. I feel stupid.
