go to camp1320, he sold us ours, and he even tried to disuade us from buying it because we had an ITR manifold already. How many guys would do that in the import scene? Tom gets my thumbs up.

also the aebs has a larger inlet than the 3. the aebs is at 65mm so if you have a jg 65mm tb, its a perfect match

I bought an aebs because people were posting how they were getting equivalent numbers as opposed to a skunk2, the downfall is they don't look as perfect. But for $145.00 I felt it was a great compromise.

i've used both the aebs and the skunk2 on a stock(i/h/e), untunned b16. the butt dyno was all i had to go off of, and i really couldn't tell the difference. i'm sure with a larger/more built motor and a real dyno, the difference would be more prevelent.

my only gripe about the AEBS was that it was kind of a pain in the *** to get on, but i guess that isn't a big deal since you only have to do it once.

bang for the buck, the AEBS wins hands down. the second time around, i got a homie hook up on a skunk2 manifold, so thats what i went with it.

What type of head is this for? Last I heard, AEBS didn't make an intake manifold for GS-R heads. This is why I went with the AN-R piece. It actually ran pretty shitty at stock VTEC (4400), but once it was bumped up a little bit, it's performance started to shine. If I had a B16 or R head, I probably would've gone with an AEBS, but since I've got a GS-R head, I went with the AN-R becuase it looked very similar to the Skunk2, and was much cheaper.

Another gay "what is better" thread. At least you hinted that you are after power. That is a step above most.

There is no such thing as better. It all comes down to compromise. They will all offer different flow characteristics and will vary with every application. They will all sacrifice power somewhere for gains elsewhere, they will all look different with some more asthetically pleasing than others, etc. Since you hinted power, are you looking for "bragging rights" of maximum peak power or are you looking for maximum average power in the entire powerband so you can actually go faster? With some information on your motor, and an answer to the above question, someone with alot of experience may, just may, be able to guide you in the right direction, but odds are NOONE is going to be able to answer your question with any absolute certainty.
