NEED HELP CHECK ENGINE LIGHT PLZ?!
okay otay ima new member and bought my 95 SE 3 months ago....since then i've replaced the distributor cap for the 3rd time for me being the 3rd owner. Then about a month ago the check engine light was blinking......so then i got the oxygen sensor replaced with a universal one........as soon as that happened the check engine light has been constantly on. I did the paper clip thing but on my 95 SE i have a green housing that supplies 2 blue pin connectors with 1 having 3 inputs and the 2nd blue pin has 2 inputs.....so i didnt really know what to jump together so i tried all of them.....none of them made the code pop up...one would block out the check engine light but then when the clip was removed it would turn back on. So after doing all these, now when i turn on my map lights they dont work and when the map light is pushed my door signals turn on..???
Can anybody help me out on these little problems??
I've already searched but to me it sounds like there is only 1 blue pin people are talking about......i have 2 blue pins inside a green housing......

That green rubber thing holds 2 blue plastic plugs. One has 3 wires, that's for a diagnostic tool. The one you want has only 2 wires. So when you jumper them with a paper clip the CEL goes out & doesn't blink anything? You have to wait a couple seconds before it starts blinking.
I hate to say this, but if you've randomly jumpered other stuff, you may have damaged your ECU. I really don't know what could happen by jumpering pins in the other connector.
