Default Is there a way to make the power steering not so powerful?

I don't want to remove the power steering but i would like to make it help a little less. Just about twice the resistance there is now would be great. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!

Is there an adjustment that you know of?

I am wondering if the ITR steering is less assisted? It would see that this would not be a really high demand part from wrecked ITR? Maybe it would be cheap?

Thanks!

try the aem power pulleys. they replace your power stearing and alternator pulleys. they worked for me. made a little power and didnt affect much at all. thats the only way to mess with the p.s. that i know of.

Drain some fluid? Just messin with ya...

You could always switch to a manual steering rack from a Civic. Just removing the belt from the p/s pump will tighten up the feel a lot, but it does require a lot more effort to turn the wheel in parking lot situations.

I think you'd be very disappointed to find that it requires a lot more turns of the wheel to go from lock to lock on a manual steering car. Parallel parking and 3-point U-turns become a real pain. Slow U-turns on the backroads will also require a lot of steering wheel shuffling.
