its not much of a power loss....just suck it up you dont need it...i dont have it in my coupe...you get used to it after a few days

my other hatch didnt have power steering, the new one im getting does, so yea. i dont wanna go thru the trouble of taking it off...or getting a manual steering rack...if im gonna take it off...ill just get my tubes tied for a while

i took it off. it's great. it had power steering before and i don't have ANY problem turning. ujust need a lil muscle. c'mon! when u tie the tube, make sure u turn the steering wheel all the way to the left n right first. that way all the liquid comes out that can come out. i didn't do this, heh. blew off my plug when i turned into a parking stall.

For now just undo the belt, then zip tie it to the front radiator support and drive like that for awhile. If you like it off cut the belt and youre done.
If you like it the other way put the belt back on.
