Default OHH NO!!! Houston we have a problem

Well, i thought i was ready to finally finish my Vitara piston'd setup in 1-2 weeks..Lil i knew we were going to encounter some problems..After getting my turbo we decided to put the manifold and turbine in the car to check if we were going to have clearance issues..
To my surprise my "AC" manifold seems to not be as AC friendly as we thought.

There is no problem with the Condenser or Stock Fan but the space between the turbo and the AC compressor seem minimal to the point where i dont think that even a 2.5" DP will fit, or atleast it'll be a really tight fit, if it fits.. Im doing a 3" downpipe and i already ordered all the stuff from Kteller.

So here are some pics.. Test fited the Starion FMIC and it fits like if it was meant to be there. ..Maybe painting it black to hide it a lil.

Now on to the ISSUES!!!
My provisional manifold while i could get something better... CODY!! Seems like I will be ordering a MiniMe from you in the next week

Seems like there is barely 3" of clearance fron the turbo to the AC compressor..

Beter view...

And lastly..The turbo compressor rest on the block, touching it (pic is not rotated...sorry)

I dont think it will fit...I measured a lil with an intake tube i had and even w/o the T3 flange in there it does not fit.The flange for the T3 is almost 1/2" thick so i got exactly around 2.5" clearance..It will hit the compressor

that is really tight. I had to cheat the hell out of a 2.5" bend with a 4" radius to get it by my compressor. I had 4" of clearance. Have you tried turning the turbo around on the manifold, or does it stick out too far?

If i flip the turbo it wont even bolt to the manifold cause then the Turbo compresor hits the AC compressor and doesnt bolt into the manifold.

Another issue is the Wastegate placement..I will be using a Racegate so where it is now the hood wont close.

Let me interpret that for the other Honda-Techers out there.

What he said was --

"I now need to buy a new manifold"

End of story

I think it could be done with a 2.5" or 3" donut...you still may have to cheat the bend a little bit. But I like your other solution better...get a LoveFab and call it a day.
