my car smokes alot. Im running a basemap w/uberdata. got t3/t4 57 trim, 440cc injectors, 255lph intank pump. I've been getting a cel as well. Havn't figured out what it is yet, gonna do it tommorow. when i idle, it blows a bunch of grey smoke out, smells like fuel. Im running an open downpipe right now. There's also some black smoke after a minute or so. It smokes alot. My oil return may be kinked a lil, but i don't think so. It's a pretty strait line from the turbo to the return, it just pushes against the intake piping alil. Any ideas? sorry i don't know what the cel is from yet.

 

My car did that too the first time I fired it up after my turbo install. Open downpipe; freakin filled my garage up with smoke even with the garage door open.. felt like i was gonna choke to death. It also smelled like fuel, but that's because I was running a basemap and I think it was a lil on the rich side just to be safe. After getting my Hondata tuned.. the smoking only occurred when I was warming up the car; it was slight smoking.. looked almost like condensation.

 

hmm, you think it's safe for me to drive my car? My garage gets filled up with smoke. Im gonna find out what the cel is for right now though

yea thats REAL rich. what fpr are you running. if its stock and you are running a 255 pump then your fuel pressure is prolly like 70 psi! drill a real small hole in your stock fpr, to bypass that fuel

thanks for the advice. Im gonna buy an aem off my friend if i can get aholda him. What should my fuel pressure be at idle about? 42?
