Default need to know some info on D16A1 and D16Z6

witch engine is a better choice to have
The D16A1
or
The D16Z6
and what is the torq and horse power difference and are the heads able to be swaped out and does the ecu need to be swaped with the head as well

the d16a1 is the 86-89 acura integra engine and is not a direct bolt in to the 88-91 civic/crx chassis.. maybe you are speaking of the d16a6?

I Think U Are Talking About The D16a6 Cuz the D16a1 do go into the ef chasis But ts is the biggest pain in the *** and its not even worth all the work.. and as for the question depends what u are looking for the A6 has good low end torque and is a torqyer engine but the z6 has more horsepower and its VTEC

and yes most D Series heads can be swaped like my setup is a D16a6 with a D16a1 Head and it wuz really straight foward hardly had to no modifications...
