Default Could it just be the ecu? All sensors/wiring is good. Still codes.

Ok, i have been having problems with my b16a swap that i did into my 88 crx dx. I currentley can't rev past 3000 rpms. It's like a rev limiter and i just bounce off of it.

I am getting a code 6, coolant termperature sensor. I tested it per the shop manual and everything checks out, all resistance measurements are ok, and wires to the ecu check out. So I am at the last step to replace the ecu with a known good ecu.

I also get a code 17, veichle speed sensor. I know there is a problem there, i get no speed reading on my speedometer. I haven't taken the time to investigate this one yet.

Finally, i get a code 8, TDC sensor, checked all the distributor wires, resistance and voltages per the shop manual and it all checks out. I am again at the step whare i must replace the ecu with a known good ecu.

From time to time i get a check engine light with no code displayed. When i unplug the b connector from the ecu it goes away... which the shop manual says i should replace the ecu with a known good ecu.

Has this happened to anyone else before, or anything similar?
