Wow, I never thought it would happen but it did. I started off with a Crx, put on an Invader kit and molded it all around as well as moulded the side mouldings and made the rear about 3 inches wider on both sides.

Looks perfect when I was done and painted and everything myself.

Today I got my system up and running:
2 Clarion APX 1000 amps @ 1ohm
2 Audiobahn AW1208Q subs (1500watts rms) INVERTED
Mounted inside of a 9 cubic feet ported box

******* DISGUSTINGLY LOUD! Was the loudest system Ive ever heard. I get out of the car to see what it sounds like outside of the car

OMG! The front right fender cracked right off so Im gonna have to use a piece of black strip of duct tape to hold that **** against the car.

It also cracked on both places where I moulded the rear bumper.

I wasnt really pissed. But Im gonna have to ditch the system I think or save it for the beater Im gonna buy. This box is amazing though, me and a friend with the record for 3rd loudest car in the world (dont know class) designed it and he made it amazing.

This ever happen to anyone else? I really never thought bondo/fiberglass would just pop off like it did though

I like the body kit, wide open for a front mount if I want to

Its a shop called Perfect-Tones, they have a Nissan Multi truck

Had like 16 4000 watt amps, 24 gold cart batteries, full of cement and fiberglass. Ill find there site

 

unless body work has been done correctly, just driving it will crack it.

 

I'm sure the system was loud, but I doubt it was the overwhelming volume that cracked the bodywork, It was more likely the sub par body work, I could be wrong, but there are alot of obnoxious systems around with huge amounts of bodywork done to the vehicle they are in, and it doesn't happen very often that the systems cause body damage.

I sold my 2 subs today guys, Im probably going to just keep one of my amps to run the components. I got $450 for from a kid who loved the chrome lol. Didnt even ask me to test them out or the specs of them, but I had a sheet on hand and he thought he got a steal for the price.

Gonna keep the box for winter if I buy another crx/hatch
