Default Water on the BRAIN.

check it out i was driving yesterday here in albuquerque and it rained really bad of course i was driving my car in it.. i have a short ram intake and a ram air hood. functional. so water entered through there. and no my car sounds like it is miss firing .. it sucks so scared to drive it.. dont want to blow the motor.. a friend blew his sohc vtec motor and another friend blew his sohc d15b for his crx..

please help what should i do..

last time i pulled over and tried my plug wires waited like 15mins and then it was fine.. its been parked overnight already and it cant get it to work..
its an B18B1 motor.

looking for a B series bell housing cuz my lower rear mount bolts ripped out of mines and i dont have any lower support down there.. frustrated right now grr

pull your spark plugs and crank the motor, if water shoots out. you got water in there bud.

Look at your spark plugs themselves, what color are they?

i will most definitely check that out and see what happens.. this situation sucks i just put the motor in recently.. do u no if there is anyway to keep the water from getting down there im at work now .. but i will let u no by tommorow if there is water in there.. and if there is what else can i do about it.

Local here. Was a bad rain yesterday. Might not have sucked water into the intake, but got enough condensation on the filter that air could not go though. Dry out your filter and check the plugs.

i checked the plugs rained again lastnight i was not driving but i connnected the plugs and it started fine reved fine for a min or so drove down the street and it started gargling again i will dry out the filter and then try again.. i couldnt feel any water near the plugs with my fingers and i pulled the wires out for the night also.. wish me luck i will try again.
