Default Alpine Type X vs Audiobahn AW1006T 10"

Hey guys,

Anyone tried any of those two subs??

I heard the AW1006t was good.

but I was leaning towards two Type X.

Any opinions on those two..

how does the TYPE X compare to JL W7s??

10inch alpine type x rated at 1000rms and 3000peak

umm well power wise they are nearly rated the same 900-1000rms.

anyone ever heard these??

what they tell you is the same... what they dont tell you is what they REALLY put out...plus, if you want any SQ out of it at all... alpine is the way to go... if you just want it loud and farting...audiobahn will suffice

Loud and farting? Ive got 2 AW1208t's, each getting a Clarion APX 1000.2 amp

The loudest system Ive ever heard is my car, smokes W7, XXX 15's everything

I just made a thread how it totally destoryed my custom body lol

Oh well

Im selling the 2 subs though, and my perfect 9 cube Crx box

just say no to audiobahn... havent heard type Xs yet but heard types Rs and if its the same or better.. then you should be set

i have 1 type r 10... hits hard and clean... in a sealed box.... i was suprised as to how hard it hits too, wasnt tryin to go for spl at all, but i still got it.. haha
