i just changed oil...my GSR take 4.2 of oil...and after i put 4 and add close to half of other bottle...when i checked my dipstick its still on bottom bot..what is wrong with it??

 

Check it again.

How often have you changed your oil yourself? First time doing it ever might be weird. Remember, the new oil is VERY light colored so you might not see it much on the dipstick, when in fact, it's pretty high.

Check again to make sure. If not, make sure it's not leaking anywhere, and just put more in until it's to the right level.

 

also give it a second or two to reach the pan

 

yes, it was my first time..but everything went very well....hand tight on oilfitler right?
