Default Timing for B16a2 with slightly higher compresssion???

Hi im going to check my timing for my JDM B16a2 but im unsure at how many degrees to set it. I know Stock timing is 16 degrees BTC and people usually say it's safe to advance it to 18 degrees BTC.
But my engine has a ported and polished head and a thinner 2 layer head gasket. Pistons are stock p30 items.

I worked out compression on one of those compression calculators and im running around 10.7:1 compression.

I have read that getting a thinner head gasket or planing the head changes your timing characteristics.

Im running stock cams and stock camgears, so I was wondering taking my headwork and thinner headgasket and higher compression in account, what should I set the timing to?

Any help appreciated

putting a thinner headgasket changes your deck height so you need to find out what it is.

OK put it simply does changing my deck height affect my ignition timing? Or should i still set it at stock 16 degrees?
