clutch prob. searched. no problems quite like this one:
Kaj Here......
setup is a cable tranny with hydro conversion. clutch worked perfect... took tranny off, put it on a new motor. hooked everything up, bled system. only pedal pressure for the last inch or two. tried to bleed again, now i get NO PEDAL PRESSURE. i pump and pump.. fluid is going through as i bleed. i can tell because i keep having to refill the reservoir. one thing i noticed is the conversion linkage on the TRANNY doesn't move up and down like it USED to. it is stuck up, in the "disengaged" position. when the pedal is released, it doesn't go back down.
anyone have this problem??
please help!!!

FOLLOW UP:
found problem for anyone that may need the solution:
my cable-to-hydro conversion places the slave cylinder into a position where the bleeder is at the very bottom, with the SC pushing UP on the lever the cable used to go in. this causes any air in the system to be pushed and trapped up in the SC ABOVE the bleeder valve.
once we figured THIS out, i was able to purge the rest of the system of air. the clutch works fine now.
