stupid ? whats the gear ratios and fd of a usdm s1 tranny
i think a s1 is a jdm cable transmission
all usdm cable b seris trannies were ys1 even the short geared gsr was a ys1
y1 / s1/ j1 were small spline jdm cable b16 transmission
the s1 has really good small gears just like the itr with the 4.40 final drive
just dont get the y1

the gears for that are
1st: 3.307

That matches the B17A1 USDM specs, which apply to 92-93 GSR trannies.
The other one I have here is for the B18A1 (91-93 LS motors) which also have the YS1 tranny, but the ratios are different. Here they are for that one:
1st: 3.166
2nd: 1.857

Okay....90-91 USDM non-vtecs (B18A1) have YS1 trannies.
