Ok I don't know why but on my 88 I adj the cables tighter and it works very good........ that's what I have been doing on my 90 so I tried the other way and it works WTF I made it loser and the e-brake is way up in the air and it holds the car good??? I have no idea why this works but hey now I can do a burn out for my slicks YES!!!!

So try that all you 90-91 CRX's see if it works for you. Rob

Probably one or both of ur calapers are bad. I had same problem, but had another set of trailing arms w/ breaks. Swapped out one and now they hold like a CHAMP! Try jacking ur rear up, putting on the e-brake and seeing if you can spin the tires with ur hand.

The e-brake cable should be fully tensioned between 6-10 clicks.
Is yours setup like this?

I dont know what I would do without my ebrake.

First week I bought the car I parked on a slight hill, put it in first and left. Came back in the morning and it was resting on the truck I was parked infont of.

I havent left teh car without it yet.

Couldnt tell you an answer to your problem though

What track you go to? Kayuga? Shannonville?
