CEL 14--z6 swap into an 89 ed
hey whats up guys....
i just swapped in a z6 motor and I/M, running obd1 with obd0 engine harness and a obd0--->obd1 jumper harness to a p28 ecu.
im gettin a CEL 14...IACV code. i cleaned the sensor....checked the pinouts...its all good. the only thing that is questionable is the connection from the sensor to the ecu. at around 1500---2000 my idle fluctuates...up and down....would this valve cause this?
i was wondering if i could just wire the sensor straight to the obd1 ecu.....would that work? or does the blk/yllw and blu/yllw....wire go through anything else before the ecu?
any info would be appreciated....
