Help: Gas pedal sticks
When I go to start my car after a while of not driving it (a few hours or overnight for example), the gas pedal has to be forcefully pushed down to get it to unstick, and then its fine. This only happens when the car hasn't been driven for a while..doesn't happen when I am driving or stopped or whatnot. Any ideas whats going on?
I just had this problem the other day...when leaving work, the throttle stuck and peddle had no play and went to the floor...
I thought the clutch dropped, but I was wrong...all it was, the throttle sticking...
I noticed that where the throttle plate hinge is, there is some buildup there...so cleaning should do the trick...
