Gas Pedal is semi sticking???
Just bought a 1999 SI and I noticed that as I slowly take off, red light for example, that when I give a little throttle and hold, allowing cars in front of me to speed up, that when I go to add a little more throttle, the gas pedal seems to stick just a bit. Then I go to push a little harder (not much at all that it takes) it causes the throttle to be higher than my speed, causing the car to jerk.
Any ideas on what this could be caused by? Im thinking the TB may need cleaning, maybe the cable needs adjusting? Let me know what you think.

Actually I think you have a better chance of the problem being related to a slightly sticky IACV. I had this same issue with my civic and I found that cleaning the IACV alleviated this issue almost entirely. I also recommend cleaning the throttle body as well, but try the IACV and manually actuate it to see if it opens and closes smoothly.

I agree ^. IACV. I would also inspect the Throttle cable. They tend to break at the firewall causing it to get caught. And lubing the cable wouldn't hurt either.

BTW, im new to the honda world. Just got the 99 SI about a week ago. So is the IACV located right by the TB? I haven t really spent much time under the hood looking at everything because of school and work. So any help would be cool. Thanks

Check the throttle cable. There's a rubber boot over the end of it that can collect dust/dirt inside of it and cause it to stick. Spray a bunch of wd-40 or silicone lube up there.
