Vtec Silinoid!!!

do different vtec silinoid make any difference? My vtec silinoid is going out and was planning on getting type r vtec silinoid does it make any difference?

maybe i just need to clean mine out but i heard u get some kind of gain from a type r silinoid please correct me if im wrong

You wont get any gains what so ever. Vtec Solenoids rarely ever go bad, or atleast I've never heard of one going bad, just remove it from the head and clean the metal filter with wd40.

I've seen 2 vtec solenoids go bad. Try cleaning it though. Thats probably all it needs. But a solenoid is a soleniod. There won't be any advantage of using a certain one over the other.
