Default OBD1 or 2

n00b question, any help appreciated.
which on board diagnostic is better 1 or 2. i was told that u can make an obd1 faster then an obd2 . i dont know if i should believe, because this dude is usually full of ****. i do know that obd2 has more sensors. but will it interupt me from making power?

Better? Well if power is what you are looking for then OBD-I is superior. But as for diagnostics purposes OBD-II is much better.

obd II is basically different than obd 1 from an emissions stand point--that's it

if you plan on going hondata you will need obd 1. Will changing ur stock car from obd2 to obd1 make it "faster"? NO

I'd love to see someone do a dyno comparison of OBDI vs OBDII in a teg. Not with Hondata or something crazy like that but just a I/H/E OBD switchover.

I bet there won't be a difference.
