last time i tried some gunk foamy engine brite, it took the shine off my oilcap, and did nothing to the gunk. oh, i also got water in the sparkplug holes and it misfired like crazy, untill i figured out what happened. there is gunk around my shocktowers and its a real beeotch to scrape that stuff off. what can i use that wont also take off the paint?

 

Simple Green works wonders on your engine bay..............spray and wipe...no water really needed..........
