Backup siren?

Maybe the ones he sells, a good one will last up to 5min., one with a off board batt. depending on batt. 15 to 20 min.

I bought a 12v home alarm battery wired it to my alarm with sirens all over my car... my alarm was still going crazy when i picked it up at the impound 3 weeks after they towed it..

a DEI one can be had for $25. I say get one and some pain generators in the cockpit of the car. If the car has layered security, one of the systems can deter the thieves. All these systems are just deterrents. The more layers the better 
Although I am not sure how long they last, this will only trigger when your original siren is cut.

I dunno, I was told if the primary alarm was cut, then the backup would blare out.
I assume if the power was cut too that the alarm would go out since it does have a battery. I'll have to see what people say about that
