Default My first buy for the TEG. Yeah.

Well I took care of one my problems with this buy.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33695

My arm rest now is really really worn. It scratches my arm something fierce when it rests on it. Now I have something to go with my JDM Type-R look. Love the suede and red stitching. Next up, shift boot. Besides the arm rest, shift boot and ****, f & r seats, and door panels, what else is the suede and red stitching?

Big mods are coming with the hopeful sale of my Motegi Mr-7's.

Here's the arm rest now installed. It was really easy. 15min. Only have a couple of wrinkles on the back of the arm rest. The adhesive I used bonded like almost instantly. I kept the thin piece of foam on to have it a little softer that just plastic. I got the stitching to line up as best as I could with it sticking in place so fast.

Let me know what you think.

I actually ghetto-rigged something like that. I went to Jo-Anns Fabrics and bought some synthetic leather, then pulled it tight over the stock armrest and figured out where the edges are where the armrest bends. I traced that line with chalk then stiched on the sewing machine with red in the same places it is stock on the ITR. When I was done stiching I stretched it back over the armrest and stapled it in place. Then i put the little dish thing back on the top part (you need to dissasemble it to understand) and it looks good. Its not JDM at all but it looks clean.

Just a tad off. I said that the adhesive bonded so quick that I couldn't evena adjust it too much at all. I did as best as I could to line it up. It looks alot better in the car.
