the other day i suddenly found it hard to change gears, a little extra force was needed and a slight crunch was then heard. so i checked the clutch master cylinder which i found to be leaking.

so today i have replaced this with a brand new unit. i have fully bled this system and i am certain that there is no air in the system.

but now the gears will not engage at all.

i can feel the slave unit moving inside the rubber boot (front of engine near radiator) when the clutch pedal is pressed but the gear stick will not move.
