Default GSR endlinks and swaybar on an EK?

i've read everywhere that you have to have 99-00 si endlinks to mount a gsr sway on an EK hatch..can anyone tell me why? i looked at the gsr endlinks and they look like they might work...

GSR endlinks will not work on the 96-2000 Civics. Believe me I have tried. You will need the 99-2000 Si endlinks and they are not cheap. Sorry to break this news to you.

i believe you. i went out and looked at the bar and endlinks after i posted this, then i looked at pics of the si endlinks, and it looks like the gsr endlinks would up being about an inch too short on both sides, so i could bolt up one side, but everything else would be off. oh well, it's only money. anyone know a good place to get si endlinks?

Man, I am in the same hole as you... I got an Integra SE rear sway(not sure what mm?) with the endlinks..and last night I looked at the car and stuff and thought "oh ****"....now that I know I need Si endlinks, what did/do you have to do about the LCA's? Mine don't have mounting points and i have heard it is STRONGLY discouraged to drill holes in them. Would Si LCA's work? Or are there any other ones that fit and come with mounting points from the great community known as "aftermarket"?

Almost all 96-2000 civic LCA's have the whole drilled in them. The best place to get the endlinks is http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. But they are not cheap about $70.00 plus shipping. Also I have a set of the drilled LCA's I would be willing to sell. Just let em know

If you only have the bar you will need to buy.

2 Frame Brackets
2 D Clamps
2 Bushings
4 Bolts to bolt brackets to frame and d clamps to the brackets
2 endlinks
4 endlink nuts

all of this must be for a 99-2000 civic si

check out this link for an exploded view. if you want to check prices. it is under the CHASSIS section and called "Rear Lower Arm"
