adding a bazooka tube - question about sound quality
My friend gave me his powered 8 inch (or 8.5 cant remeber) bazooka tube. I have a 92 integra, Im using the double din cd player from a 98 accord, and I have four six and a half inch speakers. My question is, should I buy bass blockers for the four the 6.5s, or not? I am on a tight budget and just want to have the system sound as good as possible and sound balanced. Thank you for your help!!!
are they stock speakers? If so then i would say no. If you are running an amp to your speakers i would also say no. But if they are aftermarket speakers withuot an amp, i would definitly run bas blocks once you get your tube
thanks for your help, Im using the stock speakers right now in my 92 integra. However one of the speakers does not work so I am considering replacing them with aftermarket 6.5s. Do you think I would be better off trying to find a new stock speaker or should I just buy four new 6.5s and use bass blockers? I dont have enough money for a four channel amp, thanks for your help.

Get 1pr of 6.5" speakers for the front, something efficient [ very little power to run] like Eclipse , don't use the bass blockers, put the best pr. of stock speakers in the back, find the best spot for the Bazooka tube, [they give best sound when loaded into a corner, just move it around in the hatch/trunk till it gives the best sound.
hope this helps.
