What kinda 1/4 mile times with 230whp NA?
I was wondernig what kinda 1/4 mile times i would get with a crvtec makinf 230whp? IM not sure to go crvtech or turbo gsr i want something fast for the street. If i get the turbo id slevve the block and running 17psi which one would be faster on street ans 1/4th mile
i'm guessing low 13's, go wit the turbo! did you see that turbo gsr in the september SCC? 491 horsepower ::drool drool::

im saying mid to high 12's , that was the power i was running with out my header , with my nos not tuned right, , , never got to run it yet though, was leaning out too much. but i was looking for 12's with that power. especially if you got a civic , you there no prob.
can someone tell me how 210 whp gets an integra into the 12's-low 13's with street tires? I'm seriously baffled...so many people with about 250 whp running turbo can hardly get better than low 13's. Can someone explain to me how this is possible...by the way, i'm not trying to be sarcastic. i.e. is it purely traction?

211 WHP would not get you a 12.5 @ 107 MPH in a stock weight car...at least I dont think it would.
Also more importantly (even though people dont seem to look at this) is the trap speed. Liek if someone runs on street tires...and run a 14.0 @ 105 MPH...are yo gonna tell me that is a slow car because it ran a 14.0? Hell no...thats a ******* fast *** car! 105 MPH trap speed is good for low low 13s or high 12s with traction.
So again..you have to look at everything not just the time...
...and off topic...same goes for dyno charts...the peak number is important...but sometimes the whole powerband is way more important. What engine would you rather have..one that peaks at 210 WHP or one that peaks at 200 yet makes 10-15 more WHP through out the powerband except maybe the last 500 RPMs?

what gave you the impression anyone is on street tires, , . . . ill tell you now i would never attempt to race on street tires on the track , i know my car wont even make it off the line . . . **** im scared to drive my car on the street sometimes with street tires, they suck soo bad when you got power. and that s without any fi . all motor , the tires break up real quick .
