Re: Turbo GSR 1/4 mile times? (01GSR)
no one ever goes to the fricken track, i dont know if its cause they dont have time, dont like racing, or dont wanna spend the money but when i get my turbo on ill have plenty of time slips for ya.. low 13's is probably a good guestimate for turbo GSR's..

I'll letcha know by Sunday. Saturday I plan on going to the track. First time, and I only plan on running 5.8psi, so don't expect anything terrific.... for now

Re: Turbo GSR 1/4 mile times? (LEON)
I have a Drag turbo LS in a civic hatch. I was @ 8lbs of boost on 16in Konig tuners with Nitto 450's(205-40-z16). I ran a 13.8 @ 105.5mph and then got kicked of the track because I didn't have a helmet. My motors is pretty much stock except for an Unorthadox Crankshaft pully....HTH

There are a couple here in SA.. my best times so far are 12.5's @ 114-116mph on an old pair of slicks that don't like to hook..

12.3@111.11MPH, Greddy kit on my GSR. 12-14psi no exhaust, slicks of course.
Low 13's (13.3) for me at 108-109MPH. I can't drive.

No. Sorry, the people that I've seen bolt on the turbo and boost at a reasonable level (say 7 psi) run high 13's. Now, with slicks, weight reduction, etc, etc it keeps on getting lower. I'm not saying it can't be done, but the norm ISN'T low 13's bolt-on.

Look at probably running 13.8 - 14.1 in a stock gsr w/ a drag kit running like 7 lbs. That's the honest to good truth.

I think most LS's could hit low 14's pretty consistent on 7 psi. I have. I've never seen a stock gsr +7lbs run on street tires before, but i'd imagine that they should be good for some kind of 13.5 on street tires, pretty consistent.

and for those of you who actually posted your PSI, setup, slicks or not, thanks...that's helpful. For those of you who said I run 6.5 @ 856 mph well...it'd be nice to know the setup, I'm not asking for your secrets, just slicks or not, PSI, and the kit your running, (or custom)
and Calvin, have fun running a mid 12 second car

my friend has the dragII kit on his 96 gsr and he ran a best of 13.7 on street tires. he then started leaking oil, figured it was time to build his motor with 9:1, and now with the same boost he ran a best of 14.2

.
nope... maybe it's just the elevation here. In vegas we are at 2700ft above sea level. And stock turbo ls's are running mid - high 14's while stock GSR turbo's are running low 14.0- 14.2 's

Re: Turbo GSR 1/4 mile times? (01GSR)
i can run a 1 mile in like 6-7 mins? last time i tryed i was just out of high school so a 1/4 maybe 1 min 20 sec???
this is a question i would like to know too, i never ran yet and at 7 psi in a four door w/ full interior i would love to know myself. i plan to run soon but my gsr is my daily car. Mid 13's sounds great to me (w/ slicks and turn-down exhaust I hope to hit 13.25 if i could drive that day)

As you unfortunately found out, An Integra in street trim is a lot slower than in track form (slicks/radial whatever). He should run mid 13's on the street to my high 13's. He will beat me, but it should be a good run. I live for the race not the result.
and fyi i ran a 14.2 on streets, full interior on the 55 shot...so thats a .2 sec difference

mid 13's? how you figure? some shitty slicks take 1 second off his 1/4 mi time? doubt it....let me know, i'd like to witness the race

IF and it's a big IF, I can get it tuned, I'll be running in the Import Street Car shoot out next friday at RCR.. I believe the rules are to run street tires.. so far, my best time on my 18's was a 13.3 @108mph in 100 degree heat
