Default Engine temo. sensor and radiator question

My stock 'teg radiator is busted, and I found a Fluidyne radiator with Flex-a-lite fans to replace it. My question is, can I wire the fans up to where they come on when they are supposed to(I guess when the thermostat opens..) or should I just rig it to the ignition, or last resort...wire it to a toggle switch.

If you look up the wiring diagram in the service manual, it'll tell you which harness and wires are for the main fan and which wire is positive and negative. Once you figure that out, it's a piece of cake.

Yeah you can wire it in to your stock harness. Might have to do a little chopping. Chop your stock plug off your OE fan and crimp it to the FAL fan. If that fan is a replacement fan for your car like I would imagine the radiator is then it will have the plugs on it already.

And about your avatar. THAT ALBUM SUCKS. When I was a teenager they were the baddest band around. Ribbed, White trash 2 heebs and a bean, and Punk in Drublic. But they have gone down hill for reals. But mattersville is a funny song. At the end of my culdesac, Davey Havoks house is painted black.

Well, right now the wiring is already preety chopped up(guy that had it before me was an idiot) but the fan is connected to the ignition right now. My main concern about connecting the fal fans to the ignition is that it would weaken it over time since it requires more amps, and eventually burn up my ignition. I guess the easiest way to do it would be a toggle switch. But I hate to ghetto rig more stuff up. Long story short, before I owned the car, the battery exploded and the acid ate away at alot of wires and harnesses.(the harness to the foglights looks like a G.I. JOE in a microwave.) Would my best bet be to find the harnesses at a junkyard?

Better yet, just go by the wiring diagram & replace the wires that are all chopped up. Sounds like your harness is bad enough, so finding a harness at a junkyard might be a good idea??
