would it be better to use a da teg obd0 harness than the stock harness in a 89 civic lx, would that make it multi piont injection? i'm geussing no,t but asking just in case,

would that and the vtec wire be the only wiring i'd need to put an obd0 b16 in the civic, wow i'm sure i sound retarded

the only way that would work is, if you change over the cabin/underdash harness as well...

you need to change your pin locations of your stock harness and add wires for the MPFI...

not to jump in a confused but I would just really change out the LX wiring and add the extra 8 wires I believe it was

as we had fun doing this on my 89 LX tooo

but it depends if u got a manual and all that stuff

but I would if u still going to just use the engine harness

the sub harness is a pain unless u got the dash apaet it goes behind there

The teg harness pin locations are different. Therefore a plug and play solution is out. Not even a civic mpfi harness will plug and play. It is easier to modify your harness that you already have. Otherwise you will spend a lot of time on that dash harness swap. I have swapped out a burnt 89 Hf harness for an Si and it was a pain. Took like 1 whole week of continuous work because even tho they were basically the same car and both had mpfi the harnesses were like yin and yang.
