go to the junk yard and pull one off a same model civic as yours for $30...you cant just slap on a mpfi harness if you car wasn't mpfi equipped...!!!

Re: DOHC zc. Need a wiring harness
why spend $100+ on a converted mpfi wire harness when you can buy a stock one and convert it to mpfi yourself for pennies on the dollar...if you really dont care about the money then here you go...!!!

Re: DOHC zc. Need a wiring harness
you can put a modified mpfi harness if the harness was from your particular model because it will mate up with the cabin harness...you cant put a si one in a dpfi equipped vehicle because it wont match up with the rest of the wiring...!!!

Re: DOHC zc. Need a wiring harness
no you cant...get yourself a dx,lx,std ect harness that matches your vehicle and convert to mpfi...search the FAQ or google on dpfi to mpfi conversions since there are numerous write-ups and explanations to all your questions...!!!

Re: DOHC zc. Need a wiring harness
5 year old thread revival lol
Just bought a race car its a CRX with a ZC swap that the owner could not get running
engine turns over but there is NO spark to the spark plugs
Coil is good and has power
I have a code 10 Code 13 and Code 20 all I "think' from this guys hackjob of wiring
what harness do I need to get and what 4 wires will I have to add

how much you need to modify depends on whether the original harness was for a DPFI car or MPFI car
DPFI - you need to use the original DPFI engine harness and add wiring for the injectors, add injector resistor box and add wiring for the cylinder sensor
MPFI - you need to use the original MPFI engine harness and change the connector at the distributor and extend the wires for the cylinder sensor, which is on the end of the exhaust camshaft
