Ok well my motor is done,it was a b16a2. i want something faster than that, but i dont have a ton of money to blow right now...what are some reliable setups that arent bank busters...oh and i am plannin on turboing it as soon as i get the new motor in, well not right away but pretty soon after...TIA

LS motor..cheap, has some torque and good to boost

 

how would a b20block with an ls head work with a b16 tranny?

 

don't know bout the b20, but might b good. But ls with simple mods and B16 tranny, you should be set until your turbo. At which time I would probably go with an ls tranny.

 

ok i figured out what im going to do, im gonna get a b20 block and use a new b16 head with my b16 tranny and a chipped p28 ecu..now my question is what all do i need to do in order to make this reliable? Im going to have to drive it everyday. All the work is being done by a professional, and im gonna get an itr oil pump, but what else do i need to make this setup reliable?

 

cheapest.. b20 ..w/ grs tranny .. then go for a vtec head...
