Default painting moldings

I want to paint the moldings on my civic coupe. Which would be the easiest way to go about painting them? Ive seen people leave the moldings on the car and just mask off around them, but i think i would rather take them off and paint them. What do you guys think?

I would just tape plastic or newspapers around it, because taking all that off just seems like all it would is overcomplicate the job.

either take them off to paint them or take them off and leave them off!

Okay, haven't you guys seen Tom's post (B18c5-EH2) about doing the moldings?? He left them on and did it and they came out great and much faster than taking the damn things off...but whatever do what you want, though you won't gain anything by taking them off and doing it.
