so how do you really go about that??? the process ..or would it be easier to get some paint thinner or any other products .. some tricks and tips you guys might have of your own would help .. thanks

Razorblade the window first, then claybar. If there's still stuff left, apply rain-x. It's thinned-out denatured alcohol. If that doesn't work, try full-strength denatured alcohol. If that doesn't work, try gasoline or paint thinner. Use a small amount on a rag. I'd even tape off your window trim, just to be safe.
