Buddy Club Coilover Help?
i just recieved my buddy club racing spec damper for the S2000!!! i began installation the next day! the only problem, i understand its a japanese product and maybe the j-spec S2000 might be slightly different. i mean the bottom stock axle, which holds the bottom of the coilover, wont slide in right? the bolt thats welded on the BCC is to small??? should i cut it off? or go purchase a smaller axle? i need help...! i cant go on... with other parts planned for this summer until i get this on!!! or just go to the shop... which i dont really trust nowadays around here...
I have read about this problem on most of the other owners coilovers. Most of them resolved the problem by cutting off the welded nut and replacing it with a new one that fits the stock bolt.
does it seem a lil dangerous cutting off the welded bolt? it has to be welded for a reason, such as, the bolt might move up and down, get all loose? so... for the guys that cut their welded bolt, no problem? its all goody... huh?

no, it's fine. If your're worried, you can apply thread lock on the bolt or replace the nut with a nylock nut.

i install the front coilover today! damn thing took awhile and its just the front! yes... im having a lil issue now...? i did all my measurements, but when i drop it, the car is way..... high, like one of them trucks or something? my back is droped with tanabe springs, so... yes, it look so... strange and ugly!? i thought adjusting the height thingey upward would lower the car, but it wont!? do you adjust it downward to lower the car then? i actually took it for a drive and i was freaked out! it was scary... so bouncy! damn... im worried! its my first coilover and i aint no c-west employee... i feel so... stupid

do you have a friend that can help you out over there? "adjusting the height thingey upward?" I'm sorry but I can't make out what you're trying to say and what does being a c-west employee have anything to do with installing coilovers?
Can you ask the person you bought the coilovers from for some help on those specific coilovers?

I wouldn't stress it that much though. Alignment is important but I wouldn't say corner-weighting unless the car is sitting differently than stock (rake or no rake). Remember that the purpose of running height adjustable coilovers isn't to lower the car but to tune the suspension via different spring rates and springs.
