Default The Build: Internals

Its finally that time to open the damn thing up and do some mild work to the head and block. But I need some help:

Setup:

B18c(GSR)
Intake (Short ram)
Header (Dc 4-1)
Intake manifold (Skunk2)
Exhaust (Apex WS)
Clutch (Type R)
ECU (Chipped P28 Skunk2)

Tuned w/VafcII: 184whp, 130wtq

Ok so these are the parts I plan on purchasing:

Cams (Thinking Skunk2 Stage II)
Pistons
Rods

Now I am novice when it comes to internals and modifying, so I am asking what I need to install these, like do I need to have the block resleeved/bored/etc?

Also if you guys could give me a recomendation on what to go with b/c my redline is 9000 and basically I want to have internals to hold that

Current b-series setups would be helpful as well.

Thanks guys

always a good idea to have the cylinders honed to keep them smooth and fresh before new ring install.

rods(eagles maybe)/rod bolts(arp for sure) help a lot when trying to beef up the bottom end (along with new bearings, correct torque settings).

i'd like to see the dyno for your numbers meng, those are nice

How much do you want to spend? I am getting either CTR, JDM ITR or P30 pistons (not sure what CR I want yet) and using stock rods. Also what bore do you want? If you want to get it to 84mm or higher (2.0l) you will also need sleeves (~$800-1000 depending on company.)

Also what are your goals?

Yea, thanks for asking, I guess I havent been too specific.

Well basically I am a college student, so I dont want to spend too much, but I am trying to figure out if it is possible for me to do a mild build on the internals for more power.

I do not have too much money since I am attending college, but I would like to extract more hp's and reach my 9000 redline safely.

Any qoutes on prices and parts? I will aslo raise the comp. with a new headgasket.

Keep in mind that I have also not upgraded the fuel system, not even the pump(stock dx still).

So lets say I want to spend between 1500-2000 on parts and labor....what could I do with that?
Thanks guys

I am gonna get package 1, I have a local shop that can do it a little cheaper but on his timeframe (sllooowwww! ) I email that site and asked about turn around time, he said 2-3 weeks (which is really good imo.) hope that helps you out and good luck on the build.
