F$@% Middle of summer an my A\C is acting up!
Well today i drove my car to my moms office to eat lunch with her,no problems at all, when i get back in an start driving home my a\c isnt working i turn it off an on still nothing, then i turn the resirculate on an off an with it off it started blowing very low even on high it hardly blows any air(its cold though).Anyone got any ideas ?
Ouch - and this Florida heat has been pretty bad lately. I feel for you. No warranty left on the vehicle? Possible extended warranty?
I was fighting an a/c problem for the last 6 months. I had a combination of problems, but it's now fixed.
For starters, go to pep boys or autozone and pick-up the recharge kit that comes with the gauge(it's ~$15). Test for a low charge, and go from there. Recharging is very simple and cheap! If that does not work, confirm that both fans spin when turning on the a/c.. Let us know! no a/c sucks, I just spent $300 fixing mine.

recharge dat *** steve. If you need new lines, I have every line (Thanks DavidNYC) except the one line I replaced that had a hole in it.

Let me guess, the line that sits right by the air intake? Ask how I know!

PS- Let me know if you'd rather have a clap or a trophy instead so I can edit the pic.

Thanks for all the replies,im begining to think its the blower motor, cause once i get going with the A\C on cold air comes out very slowy, but i have no control over the fan speeds 1-2-3-4,makes no noise or anything.Anyone have an idea how much that will cost ?
thanks

I don't have my manual here, so I could be wrong. I think the blower control has a resister box associated with it to give the different blower fan settings. That may be your problem.
