over the last 7 years on very rare occasions my hatchback starts up with a monumental shudder or shake. the last time this happened the car "died" and i had to have it jump started -- because the engine got flooded or something (i was told by my honda technician). has anyone had this problem or does anyone have an explanatiion? in the past it's usually happened when my hatchback was parked nose-up on a slight hill. it never died before -- i mean it started o.k. just with this awesome shudder. the problem started not long after i first bought the car in june of 1997 and my technician didn't find anything wrong with the car.
