shifter is REALLY loose

Ok I got a GSR swap with a JDM cable transmission installed into my 92 Integra, and my shifter is EXTREMELY loose. Going through the gears is fine, but when its in neutral the shifter seems to go left and right freely. I'm curious if buying a DC short shifter kit would fix the problem? Anyone got any input?

check shift linkage only thing i can think of
